Territorial scope
VeraChain Labs is based in the United States and currently offers products and shipping only within the United States. The website is not intended for use by individuals located outside the United States, and we do not actively market or sell products to residents of the European Union, United Kingdom, or other non-U.S. jurisdictions.
Children and minors
The website is not directed to minors. Individuals under 21 may not create accounts, view pricing, place orders, or submit purchase requests. If we learn that a person under 21 has provided personal information, we may delete the account and related information except where retention is needed for legal, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
What we collect
When you register an account, we collect contact information (name, email). When you place an order, we collect billing and shipping information, payment confirmation data (we do not store full card numbers; card processing is not currently enabled), and order history. When you contact support, we retain the communication content. When you visit the site, our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare and Plausible Analytics) process minimal request metadata; we do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral cookies.
Acknowledgment and compliance records
When you complete age verification, research-use-only acknowledgments, Safety Data Sheet acknowledgments, or checkout acknowledgments, we record the disclosure version shown, timestamp, account identifier, order identifier, IP address, user agent, and a unique event identifier. These records are retained for compliance, fraud-prevention, dispute-response, and evidentiary purposes. Cookies support session management and user-experience functions but are not the sole record of any acknowledgment.
How we use it
We process personal information to provide accounts, process orders, verify payment, deliver products, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, maintain tax and accounting records, respond to disputes, enforce research-use-only restrictions, and operate the website.
Who we share with
Payment processors (for wire and crypto transaction confirmation), shipping carriers (for delivery), our infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, email delivery), and as required by law. We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about certain processing activities. Automated processing
We do not use customer account, order, or support data to train public AI models. We may use service-provider tools, including automated fraud, security, customer-support, or compliance tools, to operate the service, subject to applicable law and vendor terms.
Data retention
We retain account and order information for 7 years for tax and regulatory compliance, then delete. Support communications are retained for 3 years. Acknowledgment logs are retained for 3 years.
Data breach notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of confirming the breach scope, and will comply with applicable state breach-notification laws.
